School of hair design and cosmetology

We have space for 14 students and we were registered as a NS Private Career College in 2009. Our intake of students is usually in September and November or January and runs for (approximately) 11 months.

We are fully accredited with the NS Cosmetology Association, NS Department of Education and the NS Student Assistance Program (Student Loan) and have had a number of students sponsored by the EI Retraining Program.

We also offer alternative financing programs.

A 1500 hour cosmetology program specializing in hair, this program will provide you with the information required to write the provincial exam and take your place in this very rewarding industry. It deals with hair cutting, coloring, permanent waving and everything related to these services. Also offering a 300 hour Nail Tech. course including artificial nails, pedicure and manicure services. These courses also allow for considerable hands on services on real people.

The school operates from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday.
